I think integrity is very important in doing business. Why? So that, you won't spoil your name. So that you won't be sorry in future. So that you are able to do things without regrets.

Yesterday I have got a call from this lady. She is from another network. Basically, she is asking for advice from me on how to build her business. We had a bit of chat and I taught her a bit on how to do follow ups and also some basic on networking business. After some chat, she finally bring out her intentions. She wanted to quit from her network and join my network.

At first, in my mind was, this is good. Why not... Then my network will also grow very fast. Since she is also quite hardworking and trying to spread the wellness to other people who need it. It will be good to be able to work with someone like her. Slowly, I began to change my mind. What if my friends leave my network and join others? Will I be happy about that? After all the patience and time that I had taken out to help them, I will definitely hate this to happen to my network.

This is where integrity comes in. Well, even though we are in different network, we still have the same goal. Try to reach out others and help other people to achieve their dreams. We still can work together even though we are in different network. Rather than wasting our time to snatch or jump around different network.

No fund, no fun

This is true. Many people are just too pampered nowadays that they don;t know bout this. Especially students. From their speech,'I want to work some part time. Earn some pocket money.' As usual, it is only their words.

How long can we depend on our parents. Few more years, we are coming out to the society and work hard for other people. By that time, they will know what does it means by 'No FUND, No FUN'.

This apply to everyone in this world. It is true that opportunity doesn't come frequently in one person's life. According to the Chinese 'FENG SHUI' or fortune teller, in a lifetime, we only get either 2 to 3 opportunity only. It depends on us whether we can see and grab the opportunity at the right time and work for it to change our life. Sometimes, there are opportunity which are too good to be true. However, we still have to keep trying. Some they found the opportunity but give up halfway.

We must understand that, this world is getting realistic and no money means no life.

This world is all bout 20 and 80. No wonder there is only 20% of the people in this world are successful and leaders. Others are just followers and forever looking for an opportunity. So far till now, I can;t deny the amount of stuff I have learn and seen. Wondering why all engineers say that business theory in the university are 'bullshit'. To me, commerce, finance and accounting are consider professional.

Today a friend relate to me bout a guy who is doing tri-major. His conclusion is business theory are shit stuff. WOW!! That is something strong. To me whatever we learn doesn't matter. It depends on our own is we want to succeed.

From primary school, we have dreams. When we reach high school, our dreams change. Then again at university, we study different thing and have a new goal in life. A lot of people when they come out to the society most of them will not do what they have learn in the university.

When my partner relate to me the 20 and 80, I found it quite true. Among 10 people we find, they will be only 2 who are willing to learn and try their best to change their life. Well, I still don't know how long they can continue this and overcome the different obstacles in the future. It is always the hardest to build something. Human have a strange attitude towards their work. Most of the people, no matter in what they are doing, they had already halfway trough but they still choose to give up. If only they endure a little bit more and climb a bit higher then they will be able to reach to the top. From the statistic, only 20% of the people manage to climb to the top.

Lately, my team, I can proudly say that, I have Judy, Candice, Kah Ho, Justin, Kenneth and also Willie who is guiding us. Still want to expand a little bit to a few more friends and spread it out. We do have plans. Hope that we are in the 20% of the community who want to make things work. Guess that the word HOPE is not good enough. I am sure we are the 20%.

Funny. How people act smart nowadays..

It has been 5 weeks since I join the team. So far, I have learn a lot of things. Especially in prospecting. So far, many people send me their resume and I also join in the their interviews.

Did I talk bout how a Chinese guy from Subang trying to throw all his marketing knowledge to a 44 years old business man during his interview? Maybe not.

Then there was once this Indian guy said that he made AU$700 from door to door sales while working with Thelstra. Then start to throw all the marketing knowledge again. In my mind. 'OII, apek, Au$700 a day... Why the hell you will want to quit that job?'. Acting smart again.

Yesterday even funnier. I wasn't around for that interview. I was out to do my cases. A girl still in her second year BUSINESS and COMMERCE. I think she is taking economics as her major. Asking and throwing all her economics knowledge during the interview. =.=

In my mind. Please. Don't throw all your knowledge from university during interview. You are still learning from the book. If the lecturers are so experience and 'smart' in business world then they won't be teaching you in university now. They will be making big bucks outside.

I strongly agree with how those big companies outside interview people. Test their EQ instead of their IQ. I seriously don't care whether you got good grades for your business studies. The knowledge is important. But I think nowadays many prefer those who care to learn and work as team instead of acting smart.

Confidence

It is true that if we want to convince people, we must first be confident bout ourself. When we approach a stranger, someone we do not know, first of all we must sell ourself. Next is to show our confidence.

I still remember once in class, my lecturer ask the class for the answers to some questions. I answered her confidently even though my answer is wrong. She gladly wrote them down and the whole class even jolted the answer in their notes. Later on, the lecturer manage to find out the mistakes and corrected them. By answering the questions confidently, I manage to convince others that I was right.

This is how the world look upon people who feel confident bout them self and of cause for the right reasons. It is important to sell yourself and present you confidence. Remember that.

Lesson 1: Sell yourself first

People. Lesson 1. earn how to sell yourself before you want others to judge you. I have been receiving a lot of resumes. Some really surprises me. Imagine receiving resumes with 'Hi' only and some give me '- -' attached with their resume. Some even better. Called me up and ask when my partner and I can go meet up with him. First thing comes in my mind is, 'Is this guy sincere enough to go for the job?'.

Their results. 'Fail' From the post or advertisement, we clearly stated that we want hardworking, team workers and self independent. We do get good resumes who manage to show that they really want the job or I call it opportunity. Some even want us to give them chance to meet up so that we will be able to judge them afterward. From there, we of cause can see that they are confident and reliable. It is important that we should be able to make people think that we are different and special compare to the others. Show that we are sincere. That is why selling yourself first is the most important things to do no matter what or when.

So people, after you read this. Always give sometime to think on how you can present yourself to others and leave a strong impressions of yourself in them. Sell yourself first before you want to move forward.

MLM=Multi Level Marketing

Coming to a whole new place trying to experience new things around me, it has not been easy for me to find a decent job. However, I had found a good opportunity. Learning skills and management for my studies and etc.

For those student who wanted to start their own business. It is highly not recommended that, going for multi level marketing or sales business as it seriously will take up a lot of your time and it is not ideal as when there is no sales then there is no income. Think of the assignments and exams we are going to face from time to time during our semester. Ideal?

During those time when you are busy, you will have no income at all and how are you going to survive? Think bout it people. When you are going to take up sales and multi level marketing.

I think a lot of you asked me bout the jobs that I am advertising in Monash and bout what it is. Well, I am not in a position to explain to you guys as I am helping my partner to advertise it. I am still new to the business. I just venture into the opportunity last week and it is only my 7th days today in the business.

He will interviewed you guys to see whether you are suitable or not. And of cause having a person had running business for 20 years to interviewed you guys will be better than me who just venture into in for only 7 days.

To have a basic ideas on what the job is:
1) We have have hourly payment. 1 hour Au$12 + commissions. It is for those who want to have a secure pay. Hours are flexible and trainings will be given. You can choose your own hour to work which can be discuss with us.

2) To have commissions from what you had done. Which is always higher than the 1st method. Flexibility of your time is greater as well as we will train you on how you can do it.

3) This method will only recommended for serious people and those who plan to earn more money not only now but also plan for a constant income in future. Since this is serious job. It is not something my partner can help you easily. Proper discussion to determine whether are you the right person is important.

Why do I recommend students to join this? By making as appointment you will know bout my experience and how my partner can help you out. He is currently doing 4 different type of business and his latest one which he is trying to get students involve is to help us to get better jobs as well as to train us for our future. For the three mentioned method, training and guidance will be provided accordingly.

My experience. And the opportunity.

As mentioned from the introduction, I have only been here for only 4 months. I have tried a few part time jobs. Seriously, working part time normally won't do you good not only for the time being as well as for your future. Why do I say so?

I have my reasons. From the time I reached here, I have met different kind of people. From the moment I reach Melbourne, I have already start making friends. Talking with people. Learning from different people. There are friends who just arrived here. There are who has been here for 3 years plus and now looking forward to their graduation this year end. I still remember the first Monash Student I know from working part time. He was telling me,'Working at restaurant for your part time won't do you good. I regretted for doing so for the past three years. The pay isn't as good as I think. My hours is not flexible." It is true. I know he tried looking for better jobs. As a student in Bachelor of Science, his has long contact hours for his studies. I don't think he can work at any other time besides at night.

Let me share with you guys my experience. I just finished my finals last week and last week I had already made a good income while having my finals. How do I do that? An engineering student. I had an opportunity given to me from an experienced business man, who is currently my business partner now. He taught me a lot of ways and show me how to get involved in his current strategy which is really good. I am still learning from him as his partner.

When you are looking at this, you will be wondering what am I doing, what am I learning. If its something that I can explain in here then it won't be something that great. I won't want to waste my time meeting up with you guys and make appointment if its for something simple. I am willing to take my time to meet you guys up and explain and share with you guys. I am also a student. I understand what a student want.

I believe in helping others to succeed in order for me to succeed as well. Make an appointment. Judge it for yourself for what I am trying to provide. My partner will be willing to help you guys too.

However, we are looking for hardworking people, friendly, ready to take up challenges, as well as an on going learner. Guidance will be provided. So don't worry bout how you going to perform.

Hi. A brief introduction about me. My name is Cheong Chin Sam. People just call me Sam. Soon to be 20 this year. Horoscope is Libra. Currently doing my first year engineering course in Monash University. Basically I am aiming to complete my engineering course as a Civil Engineer.

It has been nearly 4 months I stay at Australia. I have been going trough a lot of things over here and lately I have found something that interest me. Getting myself involve in business field with the help of a new friend. A lot of you might think that I am too young for all these. "WHAT CAN A SOON TO BE 20 TEENAGER ACHIEVE?" This might be one of the common opinions. Another one might be "HE IS DOING ENGINEERING AND DO HE STILL HAVE TIME TO DO SUCH A THING?". This opinion might be from those are studying now. Well. It is not true. I will prove it to you guys slowly and as I grow, I will update bout my experiences and the opportunity I can offer to you guys in near future.

Why do I involve myself in business no matter how big or small it is? First and foremost, 'MONEY'. Well, that is the most attractive thing in the world. Without it, no one can't possibly survive. Traditionally, people used to say that health is more important than money. Nowadays, I believe that we can buy our health with money. Next, is the challenging side of the business world. It is challenging. There is a lot that have to be done and revised before a business can be successful. Thirdly is because, I believe that with the proper attitude, anyone can have their own business. There is no such thing at one can't have their own business. One will have to utilized whatever they have and turn it into money-making property. That can be achieved by business doing.

Maybe what I am going to say can be quite offending towards business and commerce students but till now I always believe that it is better to learn marketing, international business, and management through experiences. You don't need to study those for your future. Accounting, finance, business law as well as economics will of cause need a lot of studies. Choosing the right majors in business studies is crucial for your future. I still remember, my mum's friend asking,'Do you want to work hard for the next 4 years or another 40 years?'. Meaning, business studies can be taken part time easily in your future but and again choosing a more substantial and practical course for your university studies in important.

Why do I still do engineering when I seem to be taking a lot of likings into business doings? Well, engineering studies is my passion to get involve in future development. One can do his engineer profession and also achieve in business world. It is proven that more than 50% of the CEOs in major companies are engineers.

Always believe in what you can do. If you are prepare to fail then you will fail. Keep that in mind. It is essential in no matter what you are going to do in your future. Good luck.
